Certain patients have need for medical cannabis greater than the maximums authorized by the now-defunct SB 420 — 6 mature plants, 12 immature plants and 8 ounces of dried flowers. In 2010, the California Supreme Court, in what’s known as the Kelly decision, declared such limits unconstitutional.

Even with the Kelly decision, patients who want to avoid prosecution should schedule an appointment for Dr. Badgley’s Medical Cannabis Limits Exemption Recommendation.

Dr. Badgley’s Medical Cannabis Limits Exemption Recommendation is a consultation done in accordance with the California Health and Safety Code, which allows medical doctors to recommend written exemptions for individual patients who need more than 6 mature plants, 12 immature plants and 8 ounces of dried cannabis to treat conditions covered under Prop. 215.

What are the limits of Dr. Badgley’s exemption recommendations? While some practioners are known to recommend up to 99 plants and 8 pounds, such counts are clearly inappropriate for most patients. Dr. Badgley’s in-depth consultatons help patients arrive at reasonable recommendations based on need, usage and cultivation methods.

If necessary, Dr. Badgley will appear in court on your behalf.
